Mission 37 coming soon, UPDATED 10-17-19

UPDATE:  Here is the Live Steaming Video Link https://video.ibm.com/channel/N3MMeufqbcL

If you’re attending Pacificon we’ll have our information table set up and staff ready to answer questions.  Monitors will be available so that you can watch the live video coming from the Drop Zone and from the air.  A GOTA station will be available so you can make a QSO!  Look for us in the hallway just inside the patio doors.

We hope to have our first jump between 10 and 11 A.M.  Our Parachute Control (Net Control) will be situated on Mount Diablo providing updates and answering question all day long.  Listen in on 146.430 MHz simplex.  Updates will also be mode on the W6CX repeater, 147.060 +100.  Too far away?  Listen in on our EchoLink node, NE6RD-L.  On mission day well will also provide updates right here throughout the day.  Sorry, AllStar will not be available for this Mission.  We will post the URL for our Live Streaming Video as soon as it is activated so be sure to check back later.

Since our target audience will be the conventioneers at Pacificon, the first round of QSOs will be from our GOTA station at the Marriott Hotel.  Once those contacts are complete the jumper will open it up to everyone else.  Please listen to the instructions from Parachute Control prior to each jump.

If you make a contact with a skydiver be sure to email us at skydivinghams@gamail.com so we can make sure you get your QSL card.  Please make sure the address on your QRZ page is correct.

Have you ever wanted to skydive?  Bay Area Skydiving is offering tandem jumps, with video and photos, for only $229.  That’s a $99 saving.  Book your jump at bayareaskydiving.com and enter Voucher Code PM2019 at checkout.  If for some reason the code does not work, make your reservation, and once at the Drop Zone mention Parachute Mobile.  Feel the freedom of free fall and the spectacular view starting from 13,000 feet.

Happy Birthday

A Big thanks to all our volunteers and to those that have participated throughout the years.
