Mission Day Updates

1702, Parachute mobile is done for the day, we had 4 great jumps and many many contacts. Thanks go out to everyone who participated in Mission 26. We really appreciate you taking the time to contact our jumpers. It is people like you that make all the effort it takes to put these missions together worth it. A reminder to anyone who made a contact today, if you can please send an email to kc6tyd@gmail.com with the the number of the jumper you made a contact with. This will help us confirm contacts so we can get a QSL card out to you. Just let Rob know if it was jumper 1,2,3 or 4.

1616, The plane is taking off at this moment. The plane should reach altitude in approximately 12 minutes. The Jumper will be jumper 3 Rob KC6TYD.

1511, Looks like the jump has been pushed to around 1600hrs. Updates to follow.

1417, Next jump will be jumper 4 Rob KC6TYD, takeoff approximately 40 minutes to boarding.

1355, Jumper 4 is in the air!

1334, Jumper 4 is waiting for the plane to return to start loading. Should be around 5 minutes for the plane to land. Jumper 4 is Troy W7BIG, he will have streaming video at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/mfwright.

1330, The Jumper Mark AF6IM is out of the plane and descending. Mark will be doing Dstar initially, so FM contacts stand by till Mark calls for FM contacts

1320, Plane is in the air!

1313,  Jump #2 with Mark AF6IM will be taking off now, it will be about 12 minutes before it reaches altitude. The first part of this jump will be Dstar, once the Dstar contacts are done, Mark will open it up for FM contacts.

1231, The airplane has been delayed, the expected arrival is now 1315 hours. We will update again when the plan is on the ground.

1222, The plane for the jumper 1 Mark AF6IM is now on the ground, Mark will be loading up shortly. Once the plane takes off it will be about 10 minutes to reach altitude.

1128, In approximately 40 minutes Jumper 1 Mark AF6IM will be jumping. Mark will start out doing Dstar contacts. See frequency information below on this page. After Dstar contacts Mark will open it up for FM. Standby for further information as time gets closer.

1100, Jumper 3 is now safely on the ground at the drop zone.

1034, APRS is up and running, look for KC6TYD http://aprs.fi

1027, The first jump of the day will be boarding in the next few minutes. It will take approximately 10 minutes to reach altitude. The first Jumper will be Rob KC6TYD Jumper 3.

1020, We have streaming video now at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/mfwright. This is ground video at the moment, when jumpers are up we should have their video as well.
