Mission 23!

Is now set for this Sunday April 24!

The weather forecast is indicating a possible chance of rain and high winds.  Unfortunately Mother Nature has a way of messing up our plans.  Our skydivers will know by Saturday or as late as Sunday morning if we are go or no go for the mission, so check back often.

Grab a QSO with a skydiver over Byron Airport, Byron, CA.

Time: Hope to have our first jump as close to 11:00 am as possible. Always expect delays due to weather or plane manifest issues. The goal is to at least complete 3 to 4 jumps for the day.

QSOs will be on 146.430 simplex.
Updates will be made on the W6CX repeater, 147.060+100

Streaming Video: At this time there may not be air-to-ground video. Ground video will be available and streamed live at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/mfwright

APRS: For Jumper 1 search AF6IM
For Jumper 3 search KC6TYD

All those that make a QSO with a jumper will receive an mission specific QSL card. Be sure to send us an email to kc6tyd@gmail.com to let us know you made a QSO. Please indicate which jumper and approximate time.

More updates later so please check back often.
